Thunderstorms Persist in Northern Mississippi as Hail Threat Looms

As of 3:30 p.m., a few thunderstorms are ongoing over northern Mississippi, according to local weather reports.

The stationary front is expected to move southeastward over the next several hours, increasing the risk of severe weather in the area.

Meteorologists warn of a localized large hail threat just south of the front, with hail sizes reaching up to ping pong balls, officials said.
