Temperatures to Rise Further Above Normal Into Weekend

Temperatures are forecast to continue rising above normal into the upcoming weekend, according to meteorologists.

By Friday, much of the Mid-South has at least a 60% chance of experiencing high temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit, the National Weather Service said.

The likelihood of above-average temperatures is expected to increase into next week, prompting residents to prepare for warm conditions.
