Temperatures Rise, Rain Chances Increase in Memphis Area

Temperatures in Memphis are forecast to rise into the 70s and 80s this week, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.

A front stalling over the Lower Mississippi Valley is expected to increase chances of showers and thunderstorms late Tuesday night through next weekend, the agency said.

There is a medium chance, between 40% and 60%, of receiving at least 2 inches of rain during this period, officials added.
