Power outages decrease as crews work through winter storm

Utility crews have made progress in restoring power following a winter storm that caused widespread outages. Initially, approximately 19,000 of the company’s 21,000 meters were affected. As of now, outages have been reduced to 14,390 meters, according to company officials.

Crews are working in challenging, bitterly cold weather, which has slowed recovery efforts. Officials urged residents to be patient and thanked the community for their support and understanding during this time.

The company emphasized that crews remain committed to restoring power as quickly as possible, despite the difficult conditions.
