Pontotoc County offers free propane refills through partnership

Pontotoc County residents in need of propane can receive free refills thanks to a partnership between PACT and Moore’s. The program aims to assist those affected by recent events or hardships.

Residents are instructed to bring their own propane tanks to Moore’s location at 9 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2026. Staff will fill as many tanks as possible while supplies last.

Officials encourage residents to arrive early to ensure they can receive a refill, as the event is expected to be popular. The free propane service is part of the organizations’ efforts to support the community during this time.
