Mississippi residents who lost food purchased with SNAP benefits due to power outages related to Winter Storm Fern may be eligible for replacement benefits, according to state officials.
To qualify, households must report the loss within 10 days of the weather event, which ends Feb. 3, 2026. Applicants should complete the Replacement SNAP Benefit Form available online and provide documented proof of a power outage lasting longer than four hours.
