Medical Center Closes Clinics Amid Cyberattack Response

Medical Center teams are continuing to respond to a recent cyberattack in coordination with federal and state agencies, according to a news release.

Clinics statewide will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 23 and 24. Elective procedures scheduled for those days are canceled. The center is working to reschedule appointments when possible, officials said.

UMMC hospitals and emergency departments in Jackson, Grenada, Madison County and Holmes County remain open, the release stated. The organization apologized for the ongoing disruption of services.
