Dry cold front to bring cooler temperatures, followed by warm-up this weekend
A dry cold front is expected to push through the region Saturday, dropping high temperatures into the upper 30s to lower 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
After the cold front passes, temperatures are forecast to rise starting Sunday, with many areas experiencing well above-normal warmth for mid-February. This change brings spring-like weather to the region, much to the delight of those enjoying milder temperatures.
Forecasters advise residents to prepare for the temperature fluctuations and dress accordingly as the region transitions from the cold front to warmer conditions over the weekend.
