Cold Front Moves Through Mid-South, Bringing Wind and Light Rain
A cold front is moving through the Mid-South, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis. The front is expected to produce gusty winds behind it and light rain showers, primarily along and north of Interstate 40.
Temperatures are forecast to drop Saturday, resulting in cooler weather across the region. However, above-normal temperatures are expected to return early next week, the weather service said.
Residents are advised to stay updated on local forecasts as the front moves through and to prepare for the changing weather conditions.
