Cold Front Could Spark Severe Weather in Northern Tennessee on Monday
A cold front is expected to move through parts of northern Tennessee Monday, bringing a low chance of severe weather, the National Weather Service in Memphis reported.
The primary threat, if storms develop, would be damaging winds. There is a secondary risk of tornadoes and large hail, the agency added.
Surface winds, which are not directly linked to thunderstorms, are also expected to be gusty, especially in the Missouri Bootheel and northeastern Arkansas. Forecasters urged residents to stay weather-aware.
